Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Colorado Springs Metro

$80.00–$90.00 per hour

Role Overview

Lead clinical care across the Colorado Springs metro — from Briargate to Fountain, Powers to the Westside. You will supervise RBTs, design treatment plans grounded in real data, and work directly with families who have been waiting too long for a BCBA who actually shows up. Manageable caseloads, field-based flexibility, and a team that backs you up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), VB-MAPPs, and other standardized evaluations to build individualized, function-based treatment plans
  • Supervise and mentor a team of RBTs across the Colorado Springs metro — providing meaningful feedback, not just checkbox oversight
  • Make data-driven treatment decisions through consistent progress monitoring, graph analysis, and plan modifications
  • Train parents and caregivers on reinforcement strategies, communication supports, and behavior management techniques they can use every day
  • Coordinate with pediatricians, schools, and other providers to align goals and ensure clean transitions from diagnosis to treatment
  • Participate in weekly clinical huddles and case reviews to share approaches, challenge assumptions, and stay sharp
  • Maintain thorough documentation and session notes in CentralReach to ensure clinical fidelity and continuity of care

Qualifications

Required

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing through the BACB
  • Colorado state licensure as a behavior analyst (or in process with timeline to completion)
  • Reliable transportation to travel across the Colorado Springs metro for in-home and community-based sessions
  • Demonstrated experience supervising RBTs and managing a clinical caseload independently
  • Strong assessment skills including FBAs, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, or equivalent tools
  • Data-driven clinical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication across families, schools, and medical partners

Preferred

  • Experience with CentralReach or similar ABA practice management platforms
  • Bilingual Spanish-English abilities — highly valued across Colorado Springs communities
  • Experience delivering services across home, school, and community settings simultaneously
  • Background in early intervention or experience with children under age 5
